Sedona United Methodist Church is having a 2nd Chance Holiday Boutique on Sunday, December 6th after Sunday worship only during the Fellowship time. This is a very short sale starting at about 10:40am and ending around 11:30am. All of the proceeds from this sale will benefit the Outreach Ministries at the church. The Men's Breakfast is held every 1st Saturday of month at 8:00am. It is back but modified! Please join the men on the Sedona UMC Patio for coffee and donuts. Please bring a can of food for the food bank. We will be socially distanced but together again
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) has been in existence at SUMC since 2003. We meet weekly at Sedona United Methodist Church on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30. The program runs year round, with exceptions for holidays and special events. Presently, we have room for new students. There are approximately 20 tutors and 30 students. New adult students are welcome the first Tuesday of each month and are placed with
ANNA’S CIRCLE BIBLE STUDY Every Thursday at 9:45 a.m. This women’s group is now meeting in-person as of October 1st! Meetings will be held in the Fellowship Hall to allow for social distancing—masks also required. They are currently studying the book of Lamentations
Sunday School for Kids is happening on Sundays starting at 2:00pm on ZOOM. Have the kids stop by and say hello! Classes will be about 20 minutes long with a DVD presentation, trivia challenge, song, and craft suggestion. Please contact the church office for ZOOM information.
Hope. It's the one thing we cannot live without. But trying to hold on to hope can take all our strength, particularly when hope's old enemy, doubt, drags us toward despair. When we are in despair nothing seems to help. We exhaust ourselves trying to sort out God's reasons for allowing bad things to happen. We need something solid to hold on to!
