This week at Sedona United Methodist Church, we’ll be looking at Revelation 7:9-17. We may often feel confused and mystified as we read Revelation, but we can learn so much about our faith with some reasoning and by not letting the symbolism overwhelm the message.
Do you ever wonder, “Am I really secure in my salvation?” or, maybe you struggle with accepting God’s grace. We’ll dive into this text, and I believe you will discover more of God’s great love for you and the assurance of the grace of salvation in your life.
This Sunday we also celebrate “All Saints Sunday” where we remember loved ones who have gone on ahead of us beyond the physical death. Remembering and honoring these loved ones helps us heal and keeps sweet memories fresh in our minds and hearts. We welcome you to join us in this celebration Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
We believe all who are secure in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ are the saints Revelation is referring to. Since this is a great celebration of our loved one’s lives we’ll also celebrate in Holy Communion before we wind up our worship for a wonderful time of fellowship. All who seek after Jesus are welcome to share in communion.
“Come, taste and see the Lord is good! Oh, the Joys of those who take refuge in him.” (Psalm 34:8 NLT). Join us this week at Sedona United Methodist Church as Rev. John Fairchild offers a message entitled, “Signed, Sealed, and Delivered”.
Sunday mornings we enter the spirit of worship at 9:30 am featuring uplifting music, special times of prayer, and passionate life changing messages that will move you closer in your relationship with Jesus Christ and others. Sunday school offered for children kindergarten to 6th grade.
Immediately following worship, you are invited to stay and join us in our Fellowship Hall this week for a very special fellowship time featuring delicious goodies and snacks, beverages, and always great hot coffee. This is the friendliest and most welcoming congregation & fellowship time anywhere!
