Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego firmly refused to bow to the king. Could we stand as firmly? It is easier when in church, but how about on other turf? They trusted God’s deliverance. Do we have that kind of faith – especially if we are struggling to see where God is at work?
And even if God didn’t do what they hoped, they’d still refuse to worship any other god. The king saw another in the fire with them and believed. Can we hold onto our faith and believe even when we don’t see God at work? Can we trust that He is working for our good faithfully?
We hold onto Easter’s promise that God is active in our lives, that His grace surrounds us, and find comfort and encouragement that we can share with others. God is present with us even in the fire. Join us this Sunday at Sedona United Methodist Church as Rev. Valerie Fairchild will be our guest preacher bringing a message of hope entitled “There Is Another in the Fire” based on Daniel 3:16-30.
Sunday mornings we enter the spirit of worship at 9:30am for (On-site/In-Person) featuring meaningful and uplifting music, special times of prayer and passionate life changing messages designed to move you closer in your relationship with Jesus Christ and others. We look forward to seeing you!
