A Great Week/Weekend of Activity at SUMC!
Remember our great Trunk-R-Treat event happening in our front parking lot on Thursday October 31st beginning at 5PM—Join the FUN! We could sure use a few more “Trunks” and helpers to hand out candy, hotdogs and drinks to ensure the local area kids and youth have a great time here. If you haven’t had a chance to sign up—just show up Thursday around 4PM—we can always use more hands.
On Saturday morning at 8:15 am join the Men of SUMC for our monthly Men’s Breakfast at the Golden Goose Restaurant. Our featured speaker will be Deacon Ron Martinez sharing with us the gift of Prison Ministry. Great food, awesome fellowship, and valuable information.
Also, a reminder to join us on Saturday morning at 11:00 am as we warmly welcome Rev. Nancy Cushman (Our District Superintendent) to SUMC for a congregational meeting in Fellowship Hall.
On Sunday morning we will celebrate “All Saints Sunday” with touching times of remembrance, blessed music and Pastor Fred will offer a special message entitled “Thank You For Being a Friend”. Let’s have a great crowd so invite, pick up, and bring your friends and family.
Immediately following worship as always, we will gather together in our Fellowship Hall for our weekly fellowship and greeting time which will feature lots of delicious snacks and always great coffee! All are invited to come and make a new friendship with the “most welcoming and friendly congregation” anywhere!
