The miracles were coming fast and furious now—After feeding five thousand people from a lad’s lunch basket, one wonders what Jesus will do next. One does not have to wonder long, as late that very same night, Jesus frightens His disciples half to death by walking toward them on the water. The scene is a sea of mystery which stretches our imaginations and our faith. Come and join us this Sunday as Pastor Fred continues a series of messages looking at the miracles of Jesus in a sermon titled: “If You Want to Walk on Water—You Have to Get Out of the Boat.” In this sermon, we will look to all four of the Gospels telling of this miracle and the unique perspective each one brings to the narrative. Pastor Mast will challenge us to leave the safety of our own boats, and dare to walk the path that God has set forth before us. As part of a great day together we will celebrate the 240th birthday of our nation as well as celebrating Holy Communion—at Christ’s Table–all are invited & welcome to come and celebrate the gift of God’s heavenly banquet for us. Sunday school is offered for children, nursery for the little ones, and all are welcome and invited to join us for the friendliest and best “Fellowship Time” anywhere featuring great coffee, cold drinks, and sweet treats.
