O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water (Psalms 63:1). Have you ever been thirsty? Desperately thirsty?  In fact, so thirsty that water alone could not possibly quench your thirst? The world understands this thirst, this need. There is an ad that features Jonathan Goldsmith as “The World’s Most Interesting Man.” He ends the ad by saying, “Stay thirsty my friends.”  We all thirst for something…We long to feel loved; we long to experience happiness and joy; we desperately search for meaning & significance.  Come this week to Sedona UMC as we welcome our District Superintendent Rev.
