It’s Fall and it’s time to sow our winter crops. We in Arizona understand how important good soil can be and Matthew understood this too, applying it to crops but also to people and ideas. This week as Sedona United Methodist Church celebrates our 35th anniversary, Pastor Fred looks at “The Parable of the Sower” and ponders the question “What seeds are God calling us to plant this season to ensure an abundant harvest for a hungry world?” At 9:30am, join in the celebration Worship and followed immediately by Sunday Brunch served in the Fellowship Hall.
The community is invited to visit Sedona United Methodist Church on Halloween. The church will have their first “Trunk or Treat” event in the parking lot from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. It will be a fun time! Trunk or Treat is a fun and safe way for kids to celebrate Halloween. Members of the Sedona UMC congregation will gather in the church parking lot with their car trunks decorated in Halloween fashion and will pass out candy to the trick or treaters. “Trunk or Treat” is a FREE event. Feel free to stop by the church on your way to Trick or Treating in Uptown Sedona! We’ll even have a hot dog stand for those who need a quick dinner. Mark your calendars for the Holiday Boutique which will be November 14th from 9 am to 3 pm. Get all your Holiday shopping done on one day!
