Join Sedona United Methodist Church on March 15th, the fourth Sunday of Lent, as we prepare for the Jesus’ trip to the cross. This Sunday is also “One Great Hour of Sharing.” This is the day we celebrate and give our support to UMCOR, the mission arm of the Methodist Church. UMCOR is known world-wide for being the first and last at any crisis. They have been the initial ground teams to help when Haiti had the most recent earthquake, when Hurricane Katrina shook the New Orleans area, when drought and floods have ravaged the Mid-West. They work to alleviate suffering, building up housing and building up souls. This is done without thought to religion, only to aiding people who need some help. Come learn about UMCOR! SUMC is located at 110 Indian Cliffs Road off the Back O’Beyond roundabout of Route 179 in Sedona. Did you know that you can listen to a sermon or service that you missed? They are online! Visit our website www.sedonaumc.org or call 928-282-1780 for more information on worship, to hear past services, for missions, bible study (we have many groups tailored to the way you like to learn), Sunday School, youth events, and any of the many activities of our church. If you need a ride to church, call us! We have people in every area very happy to give you a ride.
