shamrockSt. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser

The annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner to be held at St. John Vianney will be on March 8 (6:30-9:00 pm). Tickets to the event will be $25 per person and will include an evening of:

* Buffet corned beef dinner with desert

* Live entertainment by the Shamrockers

* Silent Auction (Tickets can be purchased at the St. John Vianney Church office.)

This dinner benefits several charities as well as the Coop VBS which will be hosted at our own church this year.  VBS is extremely expensive to finance, so this dinner and auction is crucial to its funding. Each participating church is being asked to contribute at least $400 worth of items for the Silent Auction.  Suggestions for items to be contributed are:

* Gift cards to restaurants and area stores

* Tickets to musical and dramatic productions

* Jewelry, quilts, and other fine crafted items

* Original works of art

* Time share get-a-ways

* OR, other items of value and interest Donations should be brought to Betty McGinnis at St. John Vianney Church.  The donor will receive a voucher for the value of the item that can be used for his personal tax records. Donation letters to give to businesses are available on the  table in the Narthex, and in the church office.
