Sedona is home to some vital and active community service organizations. Our neighborhoods are blessed by the work of the Sedona Food Bank, the Verde Valley Caregivers, the Sedona Humane Society, the Verde Valley Sanctuary, Sedona Sunrise Center for Adults, and more. The churches, synagogues, and other faith communities in the Verde Valley also work to bring neighbors together in service and friendship. Common to these non-profits are the glad and generous hearts of the people who give of their time and money to make them possible. This week in worship, we’ll explore why giving sacrificially for the common good can be such a joyful and rewarding experience.

Everyone is invited to a Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 26th from 2:00p.m. until 3:30p.m. We’ll have carnival games, prizes, food and drinks for sale, an arts & crafts table and a bounce house. Admission is FREE. Sedona UMC is located at 110 Indian Cliffs Road, just off the Back O’Beyond roundabout on Route 179 in Sedona. Nursery, Sunday School, and chancel choir every week.
