Currently, Covid-19 infection rates in Arizona seem to be increasing at very concerning rates. With the holiday gatherings and events, the rates in Yavapai County have increased significantly. After consultation with several of our leadership and our Administrative Council, I sadly must announce a suspension in our in-person worship (effectively immediately 01/02/21) for a two-to-three-week period in which we hope rates will drop to pre-holiday numbers. Recorded worship will continue to be offered by visiting the website and will be available by our normal Sunday worship time (9:30am).

We do not take this action lightly as we know the importance of our ability to gather for worship together in-person. But out of an abundance of caution, and out of love and concern for the health and well-being of our congregation and community, I feel it important to take this action. We will continue to monitor the local and statewide numbers and certainly desire to return to in-person worship just as soon as it is deemed safe and reasonable to do so.

Our office will also be closed to visitors and I would ask for you to call or email Jenny or I if you have any needs—we will be monitoring messages and emails frequently. I also ask that there be no gatherings of multiple individuals at the church facilities (for any reason) without prior consultation with Pastor Fred.

I also would strongly encourage all our congregation to limit your outside contact with others during this time (especially if you do not feel well), wash/sanitize your hands frequently, wear your face coverings, continue to distance, and above all, pray without ceasing!

Pastor Fred is available via cell phone if you have emergencies/concerns and need anything. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time. Not the way we wanted the New Year to begin, but this too shall pass and we will be stronger and better for it!
