Sedona United Methodist Church will have a Huge Community Parking Lot Sale on Saturday, April 13th from 8:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. in the church’s main parking lot. Members and friends of the church will sell their items individually and a portion of their proceeds will go to the programs and ministries of the church.
The sale will include not only household items but specialized items as well. Sellers include members of the community who are collectors, crafters, jewelry makers, artists and antique dealers. Vendors or individuals are encouraged to reserve a space now. There are 30+ spaces available. The church only asks for a donation in order to participate and there is no registration fee. For more information, please contact Denny Decker at 925-395-7895.
In addition to all of the great deals, The Good Book Nook, the church library, will have used books for sale. Many books come from the library to make room for new books, but other books are donated just for the sale. The Sedona UMC Cross Makers will have their hand painted cross necklaces and magnets available for purchase. These are wearable versions of the cross that local artist Joyce Killebrew Barnett created that hangs in the church’s sanctuary. “The Story of Jesus” Bracelets will make a return to the sale. These gorgeous beaded bracelets tell about Jesus’ life through each unique bead.
There will be several vendors offering breakfast items, snacks and local fare. The United Methodist Men will been sponsoring a barbecue lunch starting at 10:30am. Those who mention the press release will receive a $1 off a lunch meal deal.
