What an exciting and fun filled weekend!
Saturday morning October 20th is our second annual Golf Tournament at the Oak Creek Country Club featuring our theme “Food for Thought”—9:30am Tee Off. Thanks to all who have made this great fundraising event possible (Especially Kathy Huff). Even if you didn’t sign up to play or for the luncheon you are welcome to drop by for the culmination of the “Silent Auction” to make a final bid (or check your prior bid) on that treasure you just can’t live without or to enter the “Chance Drawing” for some awesome gifts. Golf and Lunch should be wrapping up around 12 to 12:30 PM with the drawings happening shortly after.
On Sunday morning at 9:30 am join us as we celebrate “Children’s Sabbath” and a time of worship featuring special music by our children’s “Boomwacker Choir” and Pastor Fred will share a message entitled “Relationships Matter”. We will also be receiving new members on Sunday so if you have thought about becoming a member of Sedona UMC, please contact me! There is still time for you to participate this Sunday.
Immediately following worship as always, we will gather together in our Fellowship Hall for our weekly fellowship and greeting time which will feature lots of delicious snacks and always great coffee! All are invited to come and make a new friendship with the “most welcoming and friendly congregation” anywhere!
Don’t forget to get your pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch featuring a great variety of awesome pumpkins—But they are going fast so hurry in for best selection and spread the word to your friends. All proceeds are going to Young Life Campership!
