“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed.”—Psalm 126 is a prayer for deliverance, a dream of a time when things could and would be as we envisioned. How many of us have lost our ability to “dream”? Oh to dream again—and dream really big. We live in challenging times everywhere we turn—so is it really possible for us to return to the days in which we dream of amazing possibilities. Someone once said the day you die is not the day etched on a tombstone, but the day you stop dreaming of what would be. And God wants us to dream really big dreams—Why?—because when we dream dreams that are way beyond our ability, and they are accomplished—God is glorified! The Israelites were delivered; Noah was saved from a flood; David defeated Goliath; the Magi discovered the Messiah; Peter walked on water; and Jesus was crowned King of kings. The greatest chapters in history always begin with dreams and risk—so many miss the opportunities for miracles because they are unwilling to dream big and step out into the unknown.
Join us this week as Rev. Fred Mast brings a message entitled “Impossible Possibilities” the amazing story from Exodus 16 of God’s provision for God’s people. It’s a story of God’s provision and God’s promises—God’s daily provision of sustenance for the entire 40 years they spent in the wilderness. A reminder to us that God is the same provider today that God was then—if we just ask in faith and depend upon God. We enter the spirit of worship at 9:30am featuring beautiful hymns, touching times of prayer and devotion, and passionate life changing messages that will bring you closer in your relationship with Jesus Christ. Immediately following worship we welcome you to be our guest in our Fellowship Hall for the friendliest and best fellowship time you will find anywhere featuring some very special and delicious snacks and always great coffee.
