“Fruit is always the miraculous, the created; it is never the result of willing, but always a growth. The fruit of the Spirit is a gift of God, and only He can produce it. They who bear it know as little about it as the tree knows of its fruit. They know only the power of Him on whom their life depends.” –Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“Fruit of the Spirit” is a biblical term that sums up the nine visible attributes of a true Christian life—characteristics of life lived in Christ. Translated, when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, rather than forces of the “flesh,” the Spirit will produce the ninefold “fruit” that characterize all who truly walk led by the Holy Spirit. Fruit of the Spirit is a physical manifestation of a Christian’s transformed life.  Join us this week as Pastor Fred concludes a sermon series entitled “So What Does it Look Like to LOVE Your Neighbor?” with a sermon titled “Free At Last” based on the scripture found in Galatians Chapter 5. When Christ truly becomes the center of our life, we are set free to live, to serve, and to transform the world.
