Reverend Charles Poole was born in Kokomo, Indiana and grew up in Phoenix. Attended several colleges and universities, receiving a BA from ASU and a Master of Divinity from Emory University. US Air Force veteran from the Korean Conflict Era. Served several churches in southern California, retiring in 2000 after serving Leisure World Church in Seal Beach. He is delighted and honored to be invited to preach at Sedona UMC.
Also in worship this week we are excited to welcome back Elizabeth Taylor as our guest soloist. Elizabeth has been singing since childhood and holds a degree in Vocal Performance. In 2009 she and her husband, Dan, moved to Sedona where Elizabeth continues to perform and teach voice.
