DSC2992_C1.jpgDo you spend your time wisely?  Ephesians 5:15-16 challenges us to live “not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time.”  We know that the time we have with our loved ones is a limited resource; saying goodbye is a part of life.  We know too that we are mortal–one day we will live our last day, and we don’t know when that day will come.  Life is a precious gift, and we are blessed to live in relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.  Scripture challenges us to make the most of our time, celebrating and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.  Please join Sedona United Methodist Church for Worship on Sunday, June 8th at 9:30 am as Rev. Matt Ashley shares the message, “May the Road Rise to Meet You.”  Dr. Lily Chou, retired UMC pastor and world renowed concert pianist, will share her gifts on the piano.

Don’t forget WEIRD ANIMALS Vacation Bible School is coming this week!  Bring your children and grandchildren, your neighbors and friends to our community celebration–June 9-13 from 9am to noon.  Kids can come all week or a day or two.  VBS will be held at Sedona United Methodist Church and is a joint venture of 3 additional churches, St. John Vianney, St. Andrews, and Christ Center.  There will be songs, videos, crafts, food, games and lots of fun of all sorts as the children learn about God’s love for all.  Sedona UMC is located at 110 Indian Cliffs Road, just off the Back O’ Beyond roundabout on Route 179 in Sedona.  Nursery and Sunday School every week and all are welcome!  Call 928-282-1780 or see www.sedonaumc.org for additional information.  Like us on Facebook!
